We’re Back In Church – Live!

Church services will resume live this coming Sunday January 10, 2021. We’re only having the worship service at 10:30 AM for now. The doors will be open from about 10:15 to 10:30 AM. We’ll only be using the front doors of the sanctuary. We’ll observe social distancing by using every other pew and they will be marked accordingly. Coronavirus Update: March 30

Good Morning Mount Pleasant family,Bro John here bringing you a few updates and information.     Starting this week (May 30) we will be trying to limit access to the church building. This will serve several purposes: 1) To reduce operating costs. 2) To reduce the need for cleaning, as we are discontinuing normal cleaning for the month of April. So if you’re in the building, please clean and disinfect behind yourself. Note that all nonessential things have been cut off at the building. This includes the ice maker and hot water heaters. Reggie Braziel will be the revival speaker on May 1-3, 2019 at Mount Pleasant Christian Church. Services will begin at 7:00 PM. Mr. Braziel was born in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and grew up in rural central Indiana about 20 miles West of Indianapolis, near the town of Lebanon. Reggie is a 1978 graduate of Johnson Bible College. Over the last 32 years he has ministered to Churches in Illinois, Indiana, Virginia and North Carolina. He also spent three years in full-time evangelistic work. April 14th Easter Celebration

April 14th is a day of celebration and service for our youth. Sunday morning, 9:30 am we will have breakfast and devotion for the youth (up to 12th grade). (Parents are welcome to grab a cup of coffee and pastry and join one of our adult Bible studies) At the 10:30 service our Children’s ministry, fifth grade and under, will have a worship time and Easter Egg hunt. Easter baskets for Children at Vidant

The youth will be making Easter baskets for Children staying at Vidant’s Children’s hospital during Easter. We will be accepting monetary donations, to be used to purchase the baskets, Easter craft kits and items for the baskets, or item donations from the list below. Donation’s will be accepted up to April 7th. If you would like to make monetary donation, please see Becky Ormond or Dewayne Woolard.
