Sermon: Sin Prevention
Text: Psalm 119:11
Thesis: Nothing Works Better Than The Word.

I. The Word Lasts Longer Than The Longest Memory.
A. Man has a forgetting problem.
B. God’s Word is better than the best of memories.

II. The Word Is Stronger Than The Strongest Imagination.
A. We often neglect planning for temptations.
B. God has thought of all the scenarios and has you covered.

III. The Word Is deeper Than The Cortex Of The Brain.
A. God knows the limitations and weaknesses of man.
B. God can equip us for spiritual success through His Word.

Conclusion: So here it is, all laid out and getting to the bottom line. Satan has a plan to destroy you and see your soul in Hell for eternity. God, on the other hand, has a plan too. His plan is to equip you to stand up to the temptations of Satan and win the battle. That plan is to get the Word into your heart and mind. It is to see that this plan is lived out in your life daily. And when this is done, we will not sin against God and we find the spiritual success God intends for us. Make a conscious plan to let the Word do just this.
