Sermon: Evangelistic Weapons
Text: Luke 12:4 & 5
Thesis: Fear is a liar.

I. The Christian Has The Holy Spirit.
A. Jesus reminded the Twelve the Holy Spirit was coming and the early church welcomed Him.
B. The church was empowered by the Holy Spirit.

II. The Christian Has The Word Of God.
A. Man needs a source of truth and a standard to live by.
B. The Word of God is living and gives life.

III. The Christian Has The Church.
A. Don’t forget the words of Jesus.
B. We need the fellowship of believers.

Conclusion: We all deal with fear and uncertainty. But let me assure you that we have strong weapons “set for the defense of the gospel.” Let’s use them in our efforts to contaminate the world with our contagious faith. The Holy Spirit, the Word and the Church can make us successful.
