I. The Word Keeps Us Open To The Spirit’s Leadings.
A. And when led by the Spirit we are within the Lord’s will
B. The Word makes the leading of the Spirit more recognizable.

II. The Word Keeps Us Eager To Influence Others Outside The Church.
A. We often sell short the importance of influence.
B. The word encourages all saints to be a positive influence in our world.

III. The Word Keeps Us Loving And Tinder Before God And Each Other.
A. God does His best work within the humble.
B. The church must be also humble within her ranks.

IV. The Word Keeps Us Tuned Into What’s Important.
A. Nothing is more important that kingdom matters.
B. Churches have gotten off track because she was tuned to the wrong channel.

Conclusion: The Bereans were said to have been of more noble character. We see this due to their eagerness towards the truth and their daily searching of the Scriptures. And reading throughout the book of Acts we see the early church growing and having great influence in her world. So much that Rome was frightened by this new establishment of faith. I’m not sure the world is as fearful today. Let’s get back to be contagious, like the early church. It begins with each of us and then sharing with one more.
