Sermon: The Miracle Of Daily Bread
Text: Matthew 6:11
Thesis: God Desires To Keep Us Close.
I. We Don’t Want To Depend On Him On A Daily Basis.
A. We want anything but daily.
B. That’s when God has us right where he wants us.
II. Spiritual Maturity Is Not Self-sufficiency.
A. No one is arguing against the need for maturity in the church.
B. We’re never outgrow our need for God.
III. God Puts Us In Situations Where Enough Isn’t Enough.
A. Getting a miracle requires the need of one.
B. Sometimes enough isn’t enough at all.
Conclusion: I want to need God more, not less. I want to rely on Him daily, not weekly, monthly or yearly. I want Him to draw close to me and for me to draw close to Him. May I be clay in His hands for His good use to bring Him glory and honor. And may I be always expectant of the miracles He wants to bring in my life. And I pray you will be the same way.
