Sermon: Real Love
Text: Matthew 14:26 – 31
Thesis: Critics Aren’t Water Walkers.

I. Those Who Criticize Water Walkers Typically Do So From Comfortable Seats.
A. Criticism has 20/20 vision.
B. Water Walkers aren’t in it for the comfort.

II. The More You Accomplish For The Kingdom Of God, The Less Critical You Become.
A. There’s only so much time.
B. Invest in the kingdom and see what comes up
missing.

III. Water Walkers Would Rather Make Mistakes Then To Miss Opportunities.
A. Peter wasn’t afraid to make an effort.
B. We need to focus on opportunities.

Conclusion: Over the course of thirty plus years of ministry, I’ve had some strange or unusual ideas. Some worked and some failed. But you know what, I refused to sit still and do nothing. If you chose to do that, that is certainly your choice to make. But if you do, then it’s you who will miss out. Miss out on blessings, miss out on contributing to God’s work and maybe be eternity all together. Look at these two groups and choose today which ones you’ll be a part of. I encourage you to be a water walker.
