Sermon: How The Word Should Be Preached
Text: Mark 16:15 & 16
Thesis: The Word Has A Proper Way To Be Delivered.
I. It Should Be Delivered Honestly And With Boldness. (Acts 4:29)
A. The world will not be transformed with a weak and puny gospel.
B. Our sharing should be done with confidence and forthrightness.
II. It Should Be Delivered Without Any Favoritism. (Romans 2:10 & 11)
A. All men are created in the image of God.
B. All people everywhere are heirs to the truth.
III. It Should Be Delivered In Fear And Respect. (I Peter 3:15)
A. A healthy fear of God is extremely important.
B. Sharing truth is a sacred responsibility.
IV. It Should Be Delivered In Contending For The Faith. (Jude 1:3)
A. There will always be a struggle on behalf of the truth.
B. This is no easy picnic in the park we’re engaged in.
Conclusion: To choose Christ is a smart choice. To choose to share Christ is an honorable choice. To then do so is a faithful choice. To obey the Great Commission will be a toilsome choice. But in the end, it will be worth it all. Come, rise up and make your choice. Jesus made His and He chose each of us.
