Sermon: Going All In
Text: Colossians 3:23 & 24
Thesis: God Desires Our Complete Devotion.
I. “Whatever You Do”
A. This verse begins with a unique construction.
B. The Bible speaks frequently of being fully engaged.
II. “Work At It With All Your Heart”
A. Work is a key component of success.
B. There is no halfway.
III. “As Working For The Lord, Not Men”
A. It’s all about the Lord.
B. God has given the church an important task.
IV “You Will Receive An Inheritance From The Lord As A Reward”
A. The Lord greatly rewards faithfulness.
B. No better deal has ever been promised and delivered.
Conclusion: A car won’t run if it’s halfway in gear. A plane won’t fly properly with only one wing. And know it, it’s hard to walk with the Lord if we have one foot on the road to Heaven and the other on the path to Hell. It’s time for the Lord’s Church to go all in, all the time. Be completely devoted to Him.
