Sermon: What Are You Going To Do With Your Dash?
Text: I Corinthians 15:22
Thesis: We All Get One Dash.

I. Will We Choose Hope Or Cynicism?
A. Hope is a valuable thing.
B. Cynicism is crippling.

II. Will We Choose To Seize Initiative Or Resign In Passivity?
A. Opportunities of all types are around us.
B. Live life, don’t let it live you.

III. Will We Choose To Grow Or Stagnate?
A. Life is about growth.
B. We were never meant to sit and wait for the right side
of the stone to be filled in.

IV. Will We Choose To Be Known Or To Hide?
A. Being known isn’t about notoriety.
B. You and I were never meant to just blend into the
crowd.

Conclusion: Currently, you may be either extremely excited by your life or you may be like life is a crushing weight. But know this, God is glad you’re alive. Your birthday is one of His favorite days. He was the One who knit you together in your mother’s womb. The range of what impact a person can have in one lifetime is staggering. Just think of the dash of people like Adolph Hitler, Mother Teresa, Attlia the Hun, and so many more. They, just like you, got one dash to live. Some did good, others did evil. You have some choices to make regarding your dash.
