Sermon: A Supporting Role
Text: Acts 2:22
Thesis: God Chooses To Work Through Others.

I. Nearly Every Miracle In Scripture Involves A Supporting Cast.
A. Someone got a nudge.
B. We need to do some nudging and seeking God.

II. Without These Extras, The Miracles Don’t Happen.
A. Sometimes we don’t even know their names.
B. A supporting actor has an important role.

III. Be Willing To Be An Ordinary Extra, So God Can Do The Extraordinary.
A. God works best through ordinary people.
B. Let God do the extraordinary.

Conclusion: Aad Kieboom is what many call a choice architect. He’s called this because he’s discovered how to get people to or feel certain things. He knows that color schemes, spatial layout and product placement will affect the way we feel, the way we choose and the way we spend. These seem like small details, but know that even certain scents in a room can affect how much a person will be willing to spend for a product. Friends, we are the small detail which can and will affect how people we see and seek out God. Let’s embrace our supporting role.
