Sermon: The Common Ground Of Each Miracle
Text: John 4:46
Thesis: There’s A Reason They’re Called Miracles
I. Jesus Has Mastery And Majesty At The Molecular Level.
A. He’s the catalyst for any and all transformation.
B. He’s best at transforming sinners into saints.
II. Every Single Atom Traces Its Origin Back To Four Words.
A. These four words were “Let there be light.”
B. God did all this with His voice.
III. God Created And Controls All Atoms.
A. There so much He can do with and through them.
B. The Scripture is full of these examples.
Conclusion: The common ground for every miracle is, simply put, God. Physicists have quantified four fundamental forces: gravitational, electromagnetic, strong nuclear and weak nuclear. But quantum physicists have introduced a fifth force that governs the other four together. And I’d say it’s God who holds all of this together, since the creation of the universe. And that alone is why I believe in miracles.
