Sermon: Greater Than….
Text: I John 4:4-6
Thesis: Nothing Is Greater Than Our God.

I. God Is Greater Than The Power Of Sin.
A. There are two main powers which seek to change man.
B. God has the power to redeem man from sin.

II. God Is Greater Than The Power Of Flesh.
A. The flesh is a definite liability to an ill prepared human.
B. The wise person will acquire the Spirit for success.

III. God Is Greater Than The Power Of The World.
A. The world has more power than most even realize.
B. The world is trying to make you into its poster child.

IV. God Is Greater Than The Power Of Satan.
A. His main source of power is deception.
B. He is no match for God or those that serve the Lord.

Conclusion: God is greater than anything which is troubling you or anything you’re struggling with. This is a fact. You don’t have to be a victim to sin, flesh, the world or of Satan. I challenge you to remember the words of Colossians 1:13 & 14, “For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” Because of this we are free to live a life which highlights and glorifies a mighty God.
