Sermon: A Lack Of Wisdom
Text: James 1:5 – 8
Thesis: There’s Only One Source Of True Wisdom.

I. Families Are Broken Due To A Lack Of Godly Wisdom.
A. Families are crucial to our lives.
B. Families have become Satan’s number one target.

II. Lives Are In Shambles Due To A Lack Of Godly Wisdom.
A. Our lives work best when God is at the helm.
B. Wisdom says there is one set of absolutes.

III. Christian Morality Suffers Due To A Lack Of Wisdom.
A. Christians are not immune to this wisdom deficiency either.
B. The obedient church is the answer to the woes of life and eternity.

Conclusion: Our world has become dark and violent. The prince of this world has been allowed to run amok. We have abandoned the wisdom of God for a theory and a way which seems right. But as Proverbs tells us, more than once this way leads to death. (Proverbs 14:12; 16:25) Let’s restore the wisdom of God to our world, our nation and most importantly, to our lives.
