Sermon: Regrets
Text: Romans 8:37
Thesis: Makes Regrets Work For You.

I. Refuse To Be The Victim.
A. This is an important lesson.
B. You were meant to be a conqueror.

II. Don’t Let Regrets Hold You Ransom.
A. The past is a terrible master.
B. Leverage your regrets.

III. Remember, There Is No Regret That God Cannot Redeem.
A. We have lost touch with this word.
B. Remember the best is yet to come.

Conclusion:
Our future, that of the redeemed, the church, is sure. The best is definitely yet to come. As God redeems our regrets remember the words of verse 28. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”1 You were created to be a conqueror. You were meant to stand in battle with the devil. One battle where you stumble or are knocked down doesn’t determine your future. God will use your regret, your momentary loss to His advantage and yours. You can get back up, refusing to be a victim and making powerful and devastating blows to his plans. You are the church and Jesus has said, “and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”2 Matthew 16:18.
