Sermon: Wise Dads Know How To Lean
Text: Proverbs 3:5 & 6
Thesis: A Wise Man Knows On Whom To Lean.

I. Wise Dads Lean On God For Direction.
A. We are never completely qualified to be a guide in life.
B. God is better than GPS.

II. Wise Dads Lean On God For Salvation.
A. They don’t go it alone.
B. They go with the truth and God’s plan of salvation.

III. Wise Dads Lean On God For Strength.
A. Life takes its toll on us all.
B. We need the Lord’s undepletable strength.

IV. Wise Dads Lean On God For Wisdom.
A. We need God to provide what we lack.
B. We have a God who truly wants to provide.

Conclusion:
Men be a wise man, father and mentor to this new generation. Accept the challenge of God and be the spiritual leader you are called by God to be. Don’t be a spectator and watch the next generation move further from God. Be unique and different. Let nothing distract you from the duty God will later judge you for. Be a man who knows on whom to lean and in what direction.
