Sermon: What Really Matters
Text: Matthew 6:33
Thesis: Remember This Game Has An Ending.

I. We Race Around The Board With Shallow Relationships.
A. We call these acquaintances.
B. A fulfilling life involves more than shallow relationships.

II. We Race Around The Board With Frenzied Schedules.
A. Everyone is busy.
B. So then we make schedules and make priorities.

III. We Race Around The Board With Preoccupied Souls.
A. We’re there but we’re really not.
B. Learn to see and focus.

Conclusion: What does it matter if you become the master of the board? You have more of this than any other, or have done more of this than any other. When it’s over, it all goes back into the box. You are just going to be moving. Your moving van is a hearse. Six of your close friends are going to help you move. And we all get one box. So you’d better play to win the eternal game, not the game which the world is running. That, my friends, is what will really matter.
