Sermon: Doing Your Part
Text: Philippians 2:12 & 13; Colossians 3:23
Thesis:Great Things Happen When We Partner Up With God.
I. Naaman Had To Dip In The Jordan Seven Times. (2 Kings 5)
A. Naaman had much to do.
B. Don’t let pride, doubt or logical thinking kill your miracle.
II. The Woman With The Issue Of Blood Had To Fight The Crowds. (Luke 8:42 – 48)
A. She needed to be determined.
B. Don’t let any obstacles keep you from seeing and having something great from God.
III. The Disciples Had To Haul In Their Nets And Cast Them On the Right Side. (John 21:4 – 6)
A. Failure serves a purpose.
B. Will we give up without trying everything?
Conclusion: Friends don’t be afraid to do your part, so God can then do His part. His part we can never do and our part He will not do. Step up in faith. Go down into the Jordan and dip all seven times. Don’t stop at five or six. Don’t let a crowd hinder you from seeking a touch of the Master. And finally, draw your nets in when God tells you to and be ready to cast them out once more. This is how we get and how we see supernatural acts by God.
