Sermon: More Than We Could Bear
Text: John 16:12 – 14
Thesis: We’re Always The Student.

I. We’re Sometimes Too Immature For The Truth.
A. All of us start out as babes in Christ.
B. Many will never move past this spot.

II. We’re Sometimes Too Ignorant For The Truth.
A. Often youthfulness comes with its share of ignorance.
B. We all should seek understand and “rightly divide the Word of Truth.”

III. We’re Sometimes Too Wicked For The Truth.
A. Pearls aren’t meant to be thrown to swine.
B. Some things are just “too hard” for people where we find them.

Conclusion: Over and over, time and time again God hits us or reveals to us His truth. But there are times when we can’t “bear” these truths. We could be too immature, too ignorant, or even too wicked. But I want you to know that Satan is not someone to be played with, to hangout with, or to truth. He is playing for keeps and he’s after your eternal soul. He’s no friend or ally. Clean up and find God’s grace and begin to be schooled in the truth.
