Sermon: The Secret We Ought To Share
Text: Matthew 28:1 – 8
Thesis: Some Secrets Are Meant For Sharing.

I. Fear Can Be Overcome.
A. The women felt fear and uncertainty as the came to the tomb.
B. We all have times of fear.

II. Doubts Can Be Dealt With.
A. As amazing as this secret was, doubt might have stalled thesewomen.
B. Doubt is about as human as the presence of fear.

III. Good Secrets Are Meant To Be Shared.
A. Don’t take this secret to your grave.
B. There is no time to wait.

Conclusion: Why do we procrastinate when it comes to sharing the good news? There’s just no excuse for us doing so. No fear and no doubt should stop the spreading of the good news. Too many Christians are taking the secret to their graves. If they only shared the lives of countless individuals would be changed forever. That’s the thing about good secrets that aren’t meant to be kept– they mean nothing unless they are shared. Our secret has the power to give life, life eternally. Can you keep a secret? I hope not.
