Sermon: Who Will Attend?
Text: Mark 10:14
Thesis: All Attending Are Opportunities.
I. Among Us Are The Disappointed.
A. They are disappointed with Life.
B. They are disappointed in God’s response.
II. Among Us Are The Discouraged.
A. These are our friends, family and neighbors.
B. Even those we perceive to be faithful have struggles.
III. Among Us Are The Dying.
A. Most of us don’t think of this enough.
B. Then there are those which are dying inside.
Conclusion: We are in the church building, but are we truly the church? I’m not asking you if you’re perfect cause I know you’re not? I’m asking you to act like the redeemed and those for whom Jesus died. Be glad for each person who steps in to worship with us. Tell them you are glad they are here and hope to see them again soon. Jesus is here with all of us. And he left with these words, “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20)
