Sermon: “Let’s Be Clear About Faith”
Text: Romans 4:17
Thesis: Faith Sees God As Our Promise Keeper

I. Faith is a Trust.
A. Trust is built upon promises.
B . It’s also built upon the character of the One making the promises.

II. Faith Calls Something Done Before It Is.
A. Getting things done is nice.
B. Faith sees the completed project.

III. Faith Sees Things Which Aren’t As Though They Are.
A. The latter part of the verse is full of meaning.
B.There are no limits with faith in God.

Conclusion: Faith is more than amazing. It’s powerful and useful. Those which have it can soar like eagles before God. Those which don’t will be cooped up and caged scratching at the ground and chasing the occasional worms they find. God made us to be eagles and faith to see to this. Place your faith, your hope, and your trust in the Living God. You don’t have to see it to believe it. He can give more than you can ask or imagine. You were meant for more than the life of a chicken.
