Sermon: Just One Look
Text: Luke 22:60 – 62
Thesis: Change The Way You Think Of God’s View Of Us.

I. With His Look, Jesus Said To Peter, “I Forgive You.”
A. Forgiveness is life giving.
B. Forgiveness is empowering.

II. With His Look, Jesus Said To Peter, “I Love You.”
A. When we’re broken, we need love.
B. God’s love is unconditional.

III. With His Look, Jesus Said To Peter, “I Am Still In Your Corner.”
A. We hate to let others down.
B. We all need reassurance.

Conclusion: Sometimes, people think God’s eye is on them for the wrong reasons. He’s not looking to try to catch us doing something wrong. He’s nothing like the father-in-law we spoke of from the movie. But be assured that He never takes His eyes off you. He’s not a “cosmic killjoy,” but you’re the apple of His eye, the pinnacle of His creation. He loves all of us too much to look away. And He has the same messages for you that He had for Peter.
