Sermon: Finding Your Opportunity
Text: Ephesians 5:15 – 17
Thesis: God Is The Key To Success.

I. If You’re Looking For An Excuse, You’ll Find One.
A. Don’t blame others for where you find yourself.
B. Take responsibility for your choices.

II. Opportunities Are All Around You.
A. Don’t waste time or opportunities.
B. But time waits for no one.

III. Before Seeking An Opportunity, Seek God.
A. Paul urges his audience to use wisdom.
B. He also urges us to understand the Lord’s will.

Conclusion: Paul gives us some sound advice. You can’t wait for an opportunity. Sometimes you have to make decisions which will make or provide you that opportunity. Don’t look for or make excuses for your failures and times where you missed the mark. Just get back in there and seek God’s leading and advice. No opportunity, no matter how great will bear the right fruit without the blessing of the Lord.
