Sermon: Things To Consider About Your Calling
Text: 2 Thessalonians 1: 11 & 12
Thesis: Do The Ordinary Exceptionally.

I. God Doesn’t Call The Qualified. He Qualifies The Called.
A. We think we have to have certain qualifications to be called.
B. God will equip.

II. Instead Of Criticizing, Just Create.
A. Criticism is for the lazy.
B. We should want to leave a positive legacy behind us.

III. The Calling Is For Everyone.
A. God has something for us all.
B. There are no limits to God’s call on our lives.

IV. Live For The Applause Of The Nail Scarred Hands.
A. Do what God calls you to be extreme dedication.
B. The word “whatever” may be the key.

Conclusion: Now, looking back at these four things, I hope you will step
up to the calling of God upon your life. Let this be your “burning bush”
moment. There are no excuses accepted here. God’s called us all to seek
and save. Your first mission may be in your own home. But don’t be a
complainer, be a person of solutions. Accept your calling and listen only
for the applause of Christ.
