Sermon: His Predictions Are Promises
Text: I Corinthians 15:42 – 44
Thesis: You Can Trust God.

I. God Has Made Some Bold Promises About You.
A. We can take these promises to the bank.
B. God will deliver.

II. The Resurrection Is A Down Payment On Every Promise.
A. This is the evidence which increases our faith.
B. And this was predicted and promised many years before.

III. When We Meet The Conditions, He Exceeds Our
Expectations.
A. God’s promises are often conditional.
B. God wants to deliver on His promises much more than you
could ever expect.

Conclusion: Look today His evidence demands a verdict from
your heart. See past the pain of Jesus’ scars and see your healing
and chance at true wholeness. Now is the time to quit making
excuses. Now is the time to quit playing it safe. Remember that
Jesus told us that the only way to save our life was to lose it. And
it’s time to quit trying to hedge your bets. Just accept His
promises and the One who bears your scars.
