Sermon: Get Sized For The Ring
Text: Romans 8:37
Thesis: We’ve Won And That’s A Fact.

I. Pride Is Believing Something About Yourself Which Isn’t True.
A. This world is full of pride.
B. To avoid pride we tend to avoid these clear cut truths.

II. False Humility Is Not Believing Something About Yourself Which Is
True.
A. False humility is worse than pride ever dared to be.
B. Truth is to be shared.

III. The Truth Declares Us As “More Than Conquerors.”
A. The truth is shared through the strongest evidence.
B. So since all of the Word is truth, then so is this.

Conclusion: When in the book of Revelation it says, “To him who
overcomes,” it uses the same word as we have in this verse. And each
time a promise is attached. Included is the right to eat from the tree of
life, a white stone which a new name on it and the right to sit on the
Father’s throne. We will overcome, but some will say how. The answer
is simple, “in Christ.” This promise is a fact. There are no if, ands or buts
about it. You’ve been sized for your ring and for your crown.
