Sermon: We Are The Champions
Text: Romans 8:37
Thesis: We Have A Marvelous Battle Cry.

I. The Melody Has A Powerful Start And Ending.
A. The powerful start is verse 1.
B. The powerful ending is verse 39.

II. The Baseline Is Strong And Memorable.
A. For Romans eight verse 28 is the baseline.
B. But the secret is “God works.”

III. The High Falsetto Is Attention Grabbing.
A. High notes grab our attention.
B. This message is unmistakable.

Conclusion:
If the great eight were an album, “More than Conquerors” would be the soundtrack. We are truly the champions and we’ll keep on fighting to the end. Freddie Mercury was no theologian, but this song is truly a good paraphrase of the great eight. These words in verse 37 are our soundtrack. It may not feel this way on some of those days in which we struggle. But know even when we fail, you are still a conqueror in Christ Jesus. One failure doesn’t define who we truly are.
