Sermon: Spread The News
Text: Psalms 34:1-22
Thesis: Let’s Anticipate The Response
I. Spread The News That Moral Failures Can Be Made Right With God.
A. David will come to understand this more than anyone.
B. Our moral failures don’t have to exude us from God’s favor.
II. Spread The News That Alienated People Can Be Reconciled To God.
A. This is a very Scriptural term or concept.
B. God is in the reconciling business.
III. Spread The News That Repentant Sinners Can Find Grace And Forgiveness.
A. Repentance is a Scriptural concept as well.
B. There are no limits to the grace and forgiveness of God.
Conclusion: Friends we have a message to be shared. We have a hope which is real and saves. We have a mandate and commission to share this hope and good news. We are called to be contagious. Now let’s do that and take this world for the Lord Jesus, who died on a cross and shed His blood on our behalf.
