Sermon: Staying In Step
Text: Galatians 5:22-25
Thesis: We Have The Tools To Stay On Course.
I. One Tool Is God’s Guidance.
A. Man has always been directed by one thing of influence or another.
B. Living by the Spirit is not just a catchy phrase.
II. Another Tool Is The Bible’s Teachings.
A. The Bible is God’s road map.
B. The Bible has a unique claim to fame.
III. Another Tool Is The Spirit’s Promptings.
A. God’s GPS is quite unique.
B. Hazards may require your own special course.
Conclusion: Are we serious about wanting to be a people of God? If we are, then we’re going to need to move from spectator to participant. You’re going to need to be in step with God by the Spirit. Only then will you be the contagious Christian God desires. Let’s put the tools to work for us and spread the Gospel.
