Sermon: Say No To Sin
Text: Romans 12:1 & 2
Thesis: We Must Be Authentic And Holy.

I. We Must Say No To Evil Allurements.
A. Evil is at war with God and the truth.
B. We’re tangling with a professional fisherman.

II. We Must Say No To Sensual Temptations.
A. Man has many fleshly appetites.
B. Temptations are around us everywhere.

III. We Must Say No To Compromise.
A. Well, meaning folks are sometimes encouraged into damaging compromises.
B. There is much to consider in the face of compromise.

IV. We Must Say No To Unethical Opportunities.
A. The church needs to be ethical in all ways.
B. We are not like or a part of this depraved world.

Conclusion: I have said a lot today and shared much today. But it all comes down to this, we have to say no to evil allurement, no to sensual temptations, no to compromise and no to unethical opportunities. But most of all we have to say no to sin. Sounds simple, but it’s hard to be faithful day in and day out. The lost needs us to be both authentic and holy. Then we can be contagious.
