Sermon: Are You Contagious?
Text: John 13:34 & 35
Thesis: Let’s Cause An Epidemic.
I. God Desires Us To Be His Agents, Who Catch and Spread His Love.
A. To love is a command from God.
B. But just loving others is not enough.
II. God’s Primary Plan Is The One Modeled By Jesus.
A. Jesus put God’s love on display as never before.
B. Love makes both friends and enemies.
III. God’s Plan Is To Spread His Grace and Truth From Person to Person.
A. The world is looking for an excuse to love.
B. Narrow your focus a bit; it’s a big job.
Conclusion: I want to share some hard facts with you. There are people around and in your life who are in danger. They will not be here this time next year. They may have heard of Jesus, even claim Him, but don’t truly know Him. What are you going to do about it? Will you let these, made in the image of God die without Him? I’ve shown you God’s plan for you, shown you the best example of that plan lived out and explained the Great Commission to you in simple terms. Now, all of us are without excuse.
