Sermon: In All
Text: I Thessalonians 5:16 -18
Thesis: Be Thankful, No Matter What.
I. We Should Give Thanks For God’s Grace. (I Corinthians 1:4)
A. Not just for what’s been given us, but to others as well.
B. There’s nothing wrong with being grateful for grace’s work in us either.
II. We Should Give Thanks For God’s Word. (I Thessalonians 2:13)
A. Paul was thankful for the Word’s work.
B. The Word has one major goal.
III. We Should Give Thanks For The Maturity And Love Of Other Believers. (2 Thessalonians 1:3)
A. Fellow believers are important.
B. Maturity should be the goal within the Lord’s church.
IV. We Should Give Thanks For Everything. (Ephesians 5:20)
A. We have an exhaustive list to be grateful for.
B. This is a theme which Paul repeats throughout the NT.
Conclusion: Do you have a hard time finding something to be thankful for or finding a place to start? Well, maybe today I’ve given you one or both of these. We are all blessed of God. Now let’s share the reasons with a world which needs to know.
