Sermon: The Key To Successful Wisdom Acquisition
Text: James 1: 6 – 8
Thesis: Regular Praying and Bible Reading is Essential to Having Wisdom.

I. Wisdom Is Granted To Those Who Believe And Ask In Faith.
A. Not everyone who asks for wisdom receives it.
B. So many won’t ask in faith.

II. Prayer Without The Truths From The Bible Has No Direction.
A. Our prayers need inspiration.
B. Our prayers are like personal invitation to God.

III. The Bible Unaccompanied By Prayer Lacks Dynamic Results.
A. The Bible is the most dynamic book ever conceived.
B. Prayer enhances the message beyond measure.

Conclusion: In all circumstances in which we find ourselves there is a need for God’s wisdom. But not everyone will get it. It must be requested in faith which is built due to God’s promises in His Word. That needs to be empowered by prayer to the Author of the Word. Come humbly, frequently and see what good God can do in one life.
