Sermon: Renewed Spiritual Zeal
Text: Romans 5:5 – 8
Thesis: God Has An Effective Defibrillator.

I. We Get A Little Resurrection Every Time We Read The Word.
A. The resurrection is a source of hope like no other.
B. This is the jolt we need to get our minds and lives back into rhythm.

II. The Spirit Brings Dreams Back To Life.
A. Much of the great things in life begin with a dream.
B. The Spirit can bring these dreams back to live.

III. The Spirit Revives Faith And Love.
A. Faith is kindled by the Spirit.
B. Love is assured within the Word.

IV. The Spirit Delivers On Promises We’ve Given Up On.
A. Promises are often empty in this life.
B. God is the true promise keeper.

Conclusion: Maybe you’ve been out of spiritual rhythm for a while or only for a short time. But know this God has an answer and a mean to get you back in sync. Let the Spirit work in your life through the Word. Let Him give you a little resurrection regularly. Let Him bring your dreams back to life. Let Him revive your faith, your hope and your love. It’s time to take back possession of the promises that maybe you’d given up on. This is where God wants to speak to each one of us.
