Sermon: A Whispering Spot
Text: Job 4:12 -14
Thesis: Listen For His Message.

I. Abraham’s Whispering Spot Was At The Oak Of Mamre. (Genesis 18:1)
A. Abraham will get a message which will change his life forever.
B. This good news will set the pace and direction of his life forever.

II. Isaac’s Whispering Spot Was At The Well Outside Nahor. (Genesis 24)
A. God whispers even when we’re not in attendance.
B. Often we hear God’s whispers much after the fact.

III. Jacob’s Whispering Spot Was At Bethel. (Genesis 35)
A. It began with a dream.
B. This whispering spot will even change Jacob’s name.

Conclusion: Maybe you need to have or find a whispering spot. Maybe a moment when God is whispering directions and help to you. I know for a fact that God has a message for each of us. I know like Isaac we’ll all be blessed, many times before we even realize it. But maybe in order to hear or receive our message we need to do some cleaning and some getting serious. Let’s do this so we can hear God’s whisper.
