Sermon: At His Voice
Text: Genesis 1:3 – 5
Thesis: God’s Voice Makes Things Happen.

II. His Voice Can Heal A Withered Hand Or Wither A Barren Fig Tree.
A. Again just four words. (Mark 3)
B. God is big on bearing fruit.

II. His Voice Can Turn Water Into Wine. (John 2)
A. Many people think this was a simple choice to begin with.
B. And this wasn’t just any wine.

III. His Voice Can Restore Synaptic Connections Between An Optic Nerve And The Brain.
A. Restoring sight isn’t simple.
B. God went into the realm of impossible. (John 9)

IV. His Voice Can Resurrect A Man Four Days Dead. (John 11)
A. Death is a result of sin.
B. Many changes occur at death.

Conclusion: Maybe, like many things we have learned to take the voice for granted. Well, maybe it’s time to stop and see the importance and significance of His voice in our lives. I often ask God to speak to my situation or circumstance. Maybe, through what we have looked at your faith has been stirred to do the same, more often. We often have not because we ask not. Today, in our lives, “Let there be light!”
