Text: I Corinthians 15:12 – 22
Thesis: The Resurrection Is Crucial.

I. If Jesus Didn’t Rise From The Dead, The New Testament Cannot Be Trusted.
A. Look at the gospels and Acts.
B. Then look at all the rest.

II. If Jesus Didn’t Rise From The Dead, The Great Ordinances Of The Christian Faith Would Be stripped Of Their Meaning.
A. What would baptism be?
B. The Lord’s Supper would be a memorial of just another dead man.

III. If Jesus Didn’t Rise From The Dead, We Are Fools For Believing And Perpetuating A Lie.
A. What a waste of time for us.
B. So let’s take a quick look at the evidence.

Conclusion:
The resurrection of Jesus towers above all others events in human history. It validated the claims of Jesus. He is unique among all the religious leaders of the world. He conquered death and is the firstborn of the dead for all time. And then He conquered death for each of us. He is truly the author of hope, peace and everlasting life. He is worth staking our eternity on.
